Play the Electric Guitar: The Wavering Melody of Glass

My Colorites are unique creations born out of chance, free from predetermined thoughts or intentions. They emerge during the process and receive their names only when I can experience them in their final form. Their openness invites interpretation – every viewer is welcome to find their own story within them.

The ColoritePlay the Electric Guitar‘ evokes the vibrant world of music, capturing the characteristic feeling of an electric guitar’s wavering sound. For me, it is the black and white segments in the middle and lower parts that convey the vibration of a guitar string – a rhythmic movement that ripples and arches with an almost physical presence.

The yellow that follows represents the sound of another string, where the tone shifts depending on the guitarist’s precision and touch. As the yellow blends into green, a melody emerges, a harmony shaped by the random creation process of the glass. The combination of colors and forms offers a visual interpretation of sound and motion, as if the piece itself were playing a silent symphony.

Play the Electric Guitar‘ is not only a celebration of chance and the possibilities of the material but also an invitation for the viewer to listen with their eyes and feel the music of the glass.
